I knew I wanted to be a nurse midwife after my first ADN program labor and delivery rotation in 1990. I am passionate about forming long term relationships with women, providing education on all aspects of health, and discussing family planning options. I especially love helping women make informed decisions about their health across the lifespan. I love helping women achieve their birthing experience goals, while staying committed to the health and safety of mother and baby. I grew up in various parts of the country, including Missouri, Hawaii, Florida, and Maryland, and in 2003, I moved to North Carolina. I have two boys and enjoy spending my free time baking, cycling, reading, hiking, or swimming in warm Caribbean waters.
